Community and Environmental Involvement

We don’t consider our commitment to our communities and environmental sustainability as just marketing taglines, its a part of our core philosophy. CUB Enterprises is dedicated to the communities we serve and the environment that surrounds it. Since our formation, we have worked to keep in mind our impact on our communities and environment, working with like-minded vendors and providers where possible, and encouraging others to do the same.

Every quarter, our management team and team members get together to review, and expand our action plan for our community and environmental involvement initiatives. 2011 Community Programs

A minimum of 5% of all net proceeds are directed toward helping non-secular, non-profit community or social cause organizations.

We offer discounts on services and products to qualified active military members.

We actively encourage our team members to participate in their local politics, participate in civil service activities, and push for equal rights.

We offer nutrition customers the ability to donate to the Vitamin Angel’s program.

2011 Environmental Programs

We purchase carbon offsets at the end of each fiscal year to make our operation carbon neutral.

We offer a recycling program for our nutrition customers who are unable to recycle their used containers, paying return shipping to have the waste properly recycled.

We are working to make our organization paperless by 2013 and offer solutions to help other industries make the transition as well.

Operate a fuel-efficient fleet of vehicles that achieve a minimum 25 mpg or greater, and keep them well maintained.
